The conference system comprises a transmission device, an image data source, a receiving device and a display device. The transmission device comprises a battery for providing power, at least one connection port for receiving and transmitting data, and a processor coupled to the battery and the at least one connection port. The image data source is used for transmitting image data to the transmission device. The receiving device is connected to the transmitting device and used for receiving the image data. The display device is connected to the receiving device and used for displaying the image data. If the transmission device is electrically connected with the image data source, the processor stops using the battery in the transmission device, so that the image data source provides power for the transmission device.
