Zusammenfassung: | A limited pore thermal cycle device for sample preparation and real-time fluorescence detection is described. The limited aperture thermal cycle device includes a heating block having a sample aperture and at least one reaction aperture, and an optical block including respective means for measuring real-time fluorescence in each reaction aperture. The limited pore thermal cycle device includes means for efficient heating and cooling of the reaction and sample pores for real-time fluorescence detection. The structure of the heating block provides means for efficient heating and cooling by raising each of the sample well and the at least one reaction well above the heating block base such that the sample well and the at least one reaction well are not surrounded by the metal heating block.
