Zusammenfassung:	The embodiment of the invention provides a method and system for detecting the service life of a transmission mechanism of a vehicle speed reducer. The method comprises the steps that the transmission mechanism to be detected and a braking mechanism are assembled; a load is arranged on the track, so that acting force can be applied to the load by a braking mechanism in a braking state, the load is used for simulating a vehicle, and when the load is arranged on the track, the speed of the load relative to the track in the extending direction of the track is 0; the to-be-tested transmission mechanism is controlled to drive the brake mechanism to move, so that the brake mechanism is continuously switched between a brake state and a release state; collecting state data of the to-be-tested transmission mechanism when the to-be-tested transmission mechanism drives the brake mechanism to move; and determining the service life of the to-be-tested transmission mechanism based on the state data.
