The invention provides a preparation method of monodisperse hollow polystyrene-divinyl benzene composite microspheres, which comprises the following steps: A) mixing polystyrene seed microspheres with the molecular weight of 30000-40000, a dispersant and an emulsifier, and emulsifying to obtain an emulsified solution of the polystyrene seed microspheres; and B) uniformly mixing an initiator, a styrene monomer, a divinyl benzene monomer and a pore-foaming agent, adding into the emulsified solution of the polystyrene seed microspheres, swelling for 2-10 hours in an inert gas atmosphere, then carrying out polymerization reaction, and washing and drying an obtained product to obtain the monodisperse hollow polystyrene-divinyl benzene composite microspheres.
