According to the invention, glutamine, aspartic acid and cytosine are found to be capable of improving the ability of producing sialic acid lactose of the strain under a certain content; the three components are combined to obtain a fermentation culture medium additive, and the yield of sialic acid lactose produced by the strain can be remarkably improved by adding the fermentation culture medium additive combination into a fermentation culture medium of the strain for producing sialic acid lactose.
