Wherein the glaze comprises water-based varnish, a pigment filler and a glass flux; the thermal expansion coefficient of the glass flux at 30-300 DEG C is 70 * 10 -80 * 10 /K. The preparation method of the glaze comprises the following steps: mixing and dispersing the water-based varnish, the pigment filler and the glass flux to obtain mixed slurry; and grinding the mixed slurry until the fineness is less than 10 microns to obtain the glaze. The invention further provides photovoltaic backboard glass which comprises backboard glass and a glaze layer arranged on the surface of the backboard glass, and the glaze layer is formed by printing the glaze on the surface of the backboard glass. The photovoltaic backboard glass has excellent impact resistance.
