The medicine provided by the invention comprises sinomenine or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the sinomenine, and the administration dosage of the sinomenine or the pharmaceutically acceptable salt of the sinomenine is 0.1-1000mg/kg. The sinomenine has a target spot of interaction of the sinomenine on the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 and a RBD protein and a receptor protein ACE2 of a Spike protein binding domain of the SARS-CoV-2, and has high protein affinity; in addition, sinomenine can also inhibit the activity of SARS-CoV-2, HCoV 229E and H1N1 viruses, and can relieve the in-vivo inflammatory response of an inflammatory animal model.
