The invention discloses a portable positioning device which is used for being carried by a police officer during on-duty and comprises a Bluetooth component, a communication component and a positioner. Wherein the Bluetooth component is used for binding an on-duty gun and transmitting binding information to the back-end service platform through the communication component; and the positioner is used for acquiring the position information of the police officer in real time and transmitting the position information of the police officer to the back-end service platform through the communication component. The portable positioning device can replace a positioning wristwatch, is convenient to carry, can be bound with an on-duty gun, overcomes the defect that a previous police wristwatch positioning device does not have a forced binding function, can realize whole-process management and control of links such as gun taking and gun using from a police through active positioning of the positioning device, has no spec
