Zusammenfassung: | A system and method for active end turn cooling of a vehicle electric motor is provided. The method includes providing a motor having a coolant nozzle and a cam, and measuring a speed, a lateral acceleration, and a road tilt angle of the coolant caused by a road tilt. The method further includes calculating a coolant angle and a coolant acceleration angle based on the road tilt angle and the lateral acceleration if the velocity is greater than zero. The method further includes comparing the coolant angle to a critical angle. The method further includes calculating a first control angle and a first coolant distance based on the road tilt angle and the vehicle lateral acceleration if the acceleration angle is greater than the critical angle. The method further includes determining a cam position based on the first control angle. The method further includes moving the cam to the position to move the nozzle and compensate for the lateral acceleration such that coolant drops within a target area of the motor.
