The invention provides a cooker capable of reliably preventing the situation that cooking is directly started when a detachable part is forgotten to be installed. The cooker is provided with: an accommodating part for accommodating an inner pot; a cover which covers the opening part of the inner pot accommodated in the accommodating part; a gasket which is detachably attached to the lid and which seals the space between the lid and the inner pot; a locking mechanism for locking the cover and the accommodating part in a state in which the cover and the accommodating part are sealed by the gasket by relatively rotating the cover and the accommodating part in a direction parallel to an overlapping surface in a state in which the cover and the accommodating part are overlapped; and a blocking mechanism that restricts the rotation of the cover in a first state, which is at least one of a state in which the inner pot is not housed in the housing part and a state in which the gasket is not attached to the cover, the
