BGP Update message updating method and device

The invention discloses a method and a device for updating a BGP Update message. The method comprises the following steps of: receiving a first BGP Update message from neighbor equipment; analyzing the first BGP Update message to obtain the type of each route; matching the type of each analyzed route with a route type supported by a locally configured neighbor device; determining a matched routing type in the routing types, and generating a second BGP Update message according to the matched routing type; and packaging the second BGP Update message and then sending the second BGP Update message to the BMP server. According to the method, the route type needing to be reported is analyzed and determined by utilizing the characteristic of modular design of the BGP message, and the new BGP Update message is generated according to the route type needing to be reported, so that all routes in the new BGP Update message reported to the BMP server can be correctly analyzed. 本发明公开了一种BGP Update报文的更新方法和装置，所述方法包括：接收来自邻居设备的
