The invention discloses a nuclear power station earthquake monitoring system and method. The nuclear power station earthquake monitoring system comprises a main control system, a signal processing device and a plurality of integrated earthquake monitoring devices which are connected in sequence. An acceleration sensor and a data recording device are integrated in each integrated earthquake monitoring device. The acceleration sensor acquires an acceleration signal and transmits the acceleration signal to the signal processing device, and the data recording device stores the acceleration signal; the signal processing device obtains acceleration signals sent by all the integrated earthquake monitoring devices and judges whether an earthquake occurs or not; and the main control system executes corresponding control actions on the nuclear power station equipment under the condition of judging that the earthquake occurs.
