The invention provides an electric motorcycle. The electric motorcycle comprises a power motor, a gearbox, a gear shifting motor, a clutch acting sensor and a controller, the gearbox comprises a gear set capable of being driven by the power motor, a clutch used for switching gears of the gear set, and an actuating piece linked with the clutch. The clutch actuation sensor detects the actuation state of the actuation member and transmits a signal according to the actuation state of the actuation member. The controller receives a signal of the clutch actuating sensor and controls the gear shifting motor to actuate, so that whether the actuating piece rotates to a fixed position or not can be confirmed, smooth automatic gear shifting of the electric motorcycle is ensured, and mechanism damage is avoided. 本发明提供一种电动摩托车，包含一动力马达、一变速箱、一换档马达、一离合器作动感测器，及一控制器。该变速箱包括一可被该动力马达带动的齿轮组、一用于切换该齿轮组的档位的离合器，及一连动该离合器的作动件。该离合器作动感测器侦测该作动件的作动状态，并根据该作动件的作动状态传送讯号。该控制器接收该离合器作动感测器的讯号，并控制该换档马达作动，借此可确认该作动件是否转动至定位，确保该电动摩托车可顺畅地自动换档，避免机构损毁。
