The method comprises the steps that S1, whether the materials in the material placing area meet preset material taking conditions or not is detected; if yes, executing S2; if not, executing S4; s2, based on the height distribution information of the materials in the material placing area, a moving strategy of the three-axis mechanical arm is obtained; s3, based on the moving strategy of the three-axis mechanical arm, a driving assembly of the three-axis mechanical arm is used for driving a target picking assembly of the three-axis mechanical arm to move to the position above the one or more materials and pick up the one or more materials, and S1 is executed; and S4, after a preset duration, the S1 is executed again.
