A medical device includes an outer tube, an operation portion, and a control portion. At least a portion of the operation portion is located inside the outer tube. The control portion has a control portion passage communicating with the outer tube in a first direction. The control part comprises a control module, and the control module comprises a suction control part, a suction port actuator and a switch unit. The suction control portion has a stop portion facing the channel, and is movably provided in the second direction. The suction port actuator and the suction control portion are located on opposite sides of the channel and are driven by the suction control portion.
