The invention relates to a package (10) for accommodating a medical device (100). The package (10) includes a first side (12) and a second side (14) sealed or secured along a perimeter to define a plurality of edges. An interaction area (24) is provided, which defines a first contact point for contact by a user of the package (100). The package (10) further comprises a tear region (28) that, in use, is at least partially separable from the remainder of the package to form an open upper end of the package (10). The tear-off region (28) includes an interaction point defining a second contact point for contact by a user of the package (10).
