Method for labeling map data for vehicle navigation

A computer-implemented method of tagging map data, in particular for vehicle navigation, the method comprising: receiving map data, the map data comprising a map of a road network, the map comprising a plurality of vertices and a plurality of edges; pre-processing the graph to generate a planar graph including a plurality of polygons; grouping the plurality of polygons to form a plurality of geo-fences, each of the plurality of geo-fences including a plurality of POIs that may be within a predetermined range of POIs, and each of the plurality of geo-fences having a road traversal length that may be within a predetermined range of lengths; storing geo-fence data for the plurality of geo-fences in a memory of the computer; and tagging each of the plurality of geo-fences. 一种对特别是用于车辆导航的地图数据进行标注的计算机实施的方法，该方法包括：接收地图数据，该地图数据包括道路网络的图，该图包括多个顶点和多个边；预处理该图，以产生包括多个多边形的平面图；将该多个多边形分组，以形成多个地理围栏，该多个地理围栏中的每一个包括可以处于预定POI范围内的多个POI，并且该多个地理围栏中的每一个具有可以在预定长度范围内的道路遍历长度；将该多个地理围栏的地理围栏数据存储在计算机的存储器中；以及对该多个地理围栏中的每一个进行标注。
