Zusammenfassung: | The invention provides a device for modulating a light source and an optical chip comprising the same, and belongs to the technical field of quantum optics and quantum information. Because the modulator arranged on the micro-ring is coupled with the harmonic generator through the micro-ring, the phase modulator on the micro-ring can modulate the phase of the recovered pump light to control the input pump light to be opened, and the input pump light passes through the harmonic generator to generate the parametric light with half wavelength to be used as a light source. Therefore, the device is favorable for generating an on-chip integrated opening-controlled single photon source, and can meet the integration requirements of current systematic products.
