Method for improving calling performance in wireless network

The method includes sending an invitation request to a server to initiate a new radio voice (VORR) service, where the UE is connected with a first network entity, and where the invitation request includes a media feature tag. The method includes initiating an Evolved Packet System Backoff (EPS FB) service timer and a Quality of Service (QoS) timer based on the media feature tag, and establishing a call through the second network entity using a dedicated bearer when an EPS FB command is received from the server.
