Location-based content sharing via network sharing

A method for sharing digital content is disclosed, the method comprising: determining whether a first computing device is physically located within a defined geographic area; providing access to the sharable digital content to the first computing device if the first computing device is physically located within the defined geographic area; instantiating a network sharing object associated with the sharable digital content, the network sharing object including at least a first endpoint at the first computing device and a second endpoint at a second computing device remote from the first computing device; and providing access to at least a portion of the sharable digital content via the network sharing object to a second endpoint at a second computing device remote from the first computing device.
