Zusammenfassung: | According to the invention, there is provided a driver circuit 200 for a low-inductance power module 400, the driver circuit comprising a connection end 10 and an output end 20. The connection end 10 can be connected to a source contact 15 of a power transistor 12, and the output end 20 can be connected to a gate contact 11 of the power transistor 12. The drive circuit 200 is designed to generate, in a first operating mode, a first gate-source voltage UGS1 for a gate contact 11 of the power transistor 200 and to provide the first gate-source voltage at an output 20 of the drive circuit 200. According to the invention, the drive circuit 200 is also designed to generate a lower second gate-source voltage UGS2 for the gate contact 11 of the power transistor 12 in a second operating mode during at least one predetermined minimum time period and to provide the second gate-source voltage at the output 20 of the drive circuit 200.
