Zusammenfassung:Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a transcutaneous sound sensor. In at least one embodiment, a transcutaneous sound sensor system includes a mounting unit and a sound sensor. The mounting unit is detachably connected to the electronic unit and is mounted to the skin on the body. The sound sensor senses sound originating from the interior of the body. The sound sensor comprises an in-vivo part and an out-of-vivo part. The in vivo portion is configured to be inserted through and placed beneath a skin of a body. Further, the in vivo portion has a sound sensing element configured to generate an electrical signal in response to a mechanical stress or strain on the sound sensing element.
