Zusammenfassung:The invention provides a power electronic cooling system and method. Thermal monitoring and analysis of conditions in a power electronic system includes sensing thermal parameters of interest, such as temperature and humidity, in a housing containing power electronic components. The component is cooled by flowing liquid coolant from the chiller through a chiller plate associated with the power electronic component. Air is circulated through the housing for discharging heat from the cooler plates. Based on the sensed parameters, factors such as the relative humidity and dew point of the cooling air may be calculated and evaluated to determine the likelihood of condensation. Alarms, notifications, or recommendations may be output for adjusting the chiller to avoid condensation.
