Rubber mastic and preparation method thereof

The invention discloses rubber mastic which is prepared from the following components as raw materials in parts by mass: 10 parts of butyl rubber strip; 1-10 parts of asbestos powder; and 5-14 parts of quartz powder. The invention also discloses a preparation method of the rubber mastic. The preparation method comprises the following steps: drying the quartz powder and the asbestos powder; uniformly mixing the dried quartz powder and asbestos powder to obtain a mixture; and in a rubber mixing machine, continuously sticking the mixture with a butyl rubber strip for plastication until all the mixture and the butyl rubber strip are plasticated, thereby obtaining the rubber mastic.
