Light sealing gasket with crossbar force distribution

This document describes a light seal gasket (106) with a crossbar force distribution. The gasket may be used in an electronic device (102) with a sensor package (108), wherein the sensor package (108) is capable of transmitting and receiving signals and is located behind a display (104) of the device. The shim provides shielding between a receive signal (302) and a transmit signal (304), prevents signal crosstalk, and protects a fragile panel layer of the display.
