The overhead line automatic cruise maintenance robot comprises a machine body which is of a shuttle-shaped structure and axially and slidably arranged on an overhead transmission line in a sleeving mode. The two axial ends of the machine body are open, cleaning units are arranged in the two axial ends of the machine body, the machine body axially slides and is connected with a clutch reversing unit in a penetrating mode, and the machine body coaxially rotates and is axially connected with a plurality of power fan wheels in a limiting mode.
