Zusammenfassung: | There is provided a method at a network node of a communication network, the method comprising: receiving an uplink reference signal from a user equipment; estimating delay information on a delay distribution of a communication channel between the user equipment and the network node and spatial information on the communication channel based on the received uplink reference signal; applying both the delay information and the spatial information to precoding of the at least one downlink reference signal; transmitting the at least one pre-coded downlink reference signal to the user equipment; and receiving channel information from the user equipment in response to the transmission of the at least one pre-coded downlink reference signal, the channel information indicating at least non-zero coefficients of the at least one channel transport layer.
