The invention relates to a contact assembly for a module connection, the contact assembly comprising a contact element, a bus bar and a fastener for fastening the contact assembly to a counterpart of the module connection, the contact element having: an introduction opening for the insertion of the fastener; a contact portion extending in a tubular shape along the introduction opening and having a contact surface of a mating contact for module connection; and a collar portion abutting the contact portion and extending in a sleeve-like manner into the opening; wherein the bus bar comprises a receiving opening for receiving at least the collar portion, and wherein the contact element is configured to be frictionally secured to the bus bar at a first friction surface in the receiving opening, and wherein the contact element is configured to be frictionally secured to the bus bar in the receiving opening or a fastener in the introduction opening at a second friction surface, and wherein the first friction surface
