The method comprises the following steps: assessing the health state of satellites in a satellite group; performing inter-satellite communication link health assessment; evaluating the performance of the satellite group tasks; and calculating a star group health degree value to judge the health level. The satellite group health state information and the satellite group health degree data are obtained, the degree of influence of faults at all levels on satellite group health can be determined, therefore, a maintenance strategy can be designated in a targeted mode, and the method has the advantages of being objective, comprehensive, high in reliability, high in robustness and the like.
