An artificial intelligence (AI) magnification apparatus for magnifying a low-resolution image to a high-resolution image includes: a memory storing one or more instructions; and a processor configured to execute the one or more instructions stored in the memory, where the processor is configured to execute the one or more instructions to: obtain a second image corresponding to the first image, the second image reduced from the original image by the AI reduction device using a first deep neural network (DNN); and obtaining a third image by magnifying the second image using a second DNN corresponding to the first DNN, and wherein the second DNN is trained to minimize a difference between a first restored image and a second restored image, the first restored image being caused by not applying a pixel movement to the original training image, and the second restored image being caused by the reduction, magnification, and the second restored image being caused by applying a pixel movement to the original training i
