Automatic sampling method for processing whole blood

It is an object of the present invention to provide a method that enables the treatment of whole blood for assays, taken directly from the patient without any pretreatment, and placed in a collection tube or other container ready for further analysis. The aim of this method is to enable a simple treatment of whole blood in a repeatable and automatable manner, avoiding any clots or aggregates, and not damaging leukocytes.
