Each heating device (12) comprises a heating coil (32), a first contact (34), a second contact (36) and a third contact (38). The first contact (34) is arranged to contact a distal end of the heating coil (32). The second contact (36) is arranged to contact a proximal end of the heating coil. The third contact (38) is arranged to contact the heating coil (32) between the first contact (34) and the second contact (36). The aerosol-generating device further comprises a sliding device (28).
