Zusammenfassung:A scheduling system and method for managing smart mobile robots according to a state of a table. A processor of the scheduling system is configured to: acquire an image about at least one work area of a work table; receiving a query request from at least one intelligent mobile robot; analyzing the acquired image in response to a query request to identify the current state of each working area, and selecting a corresponding working area suitable for at least one intelligent mobile robot from the at least one working area based on the query request and the identified current state of each working area, and sending a corresponding scheduling instruction to the intelligent mobile robot so as to instruct the intelligent mobile robot to advance to the selected corresponding working area. By using the scheduling system and method of the invention, the intelligent mobile robot can be timely scheduled to advance to a proper working area, waiting time is saved, congestion is avoided, scheduling efficiency is improved,
