The method comprises: shooting an image of rice on a conveyor belt; a full-color picture is recovered according to a delay RGB pixel selection algorithm, denoising operation is performed by using an image processing algorithm, and rice features are extracted to recognize different-color rice; the HSV color model can effectively distinguish color information of rice with different colors, and threshold parameters are dynamically adjusted according to actual color sorting requirements; the improved center positioning method can accurately position the pixel row where the rice center is located, and reliable coordinate information is provided for rice sorting.
