Link service profile for predictive service control

Systems and methods are provided for modifying application performance in view of link conditions. An example method includes predicting respective link rates at which data is delivered into and out of at least one of a plurality of links of a vehicle while the vehicle moves from an origin point to a destination point. The prediction is based on historical link characteristics. The method further includes generating a link service profile for the vehicle based on the predicted respective link rates and a route of the vehicle.
