Zusammenfassung:A method of operation of a display device includes driving each pixel at each frame, where a plurality of pixels of the display device are arranged in an array of rows and columns, a period of a frame includes one or more data segments and one or more data-free segments such that a ratio of a time length of the data segments is substantially the same as a sequence of power of 2, and a period of the frame includes one or more non-data segments. Each data segment corresponds to an ON or OFF period related to a specified apparent brightness or gray color or brightness, and each no-data segment corresponds to an OFF period independent of the specified apparent brightness or gray color or brightness. The method increases the available data driving time.
