Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a method for controlling a rail treatment unit and a rim lubrication device of a rail vehicle. The rail treatment unit, as a component of a rail vehicle, applies an auxiliary agent to a local area of a rail on which the rail vehicle travels as required in order to increase the friction between wheels and the rail. The wheel flange lubricating device serves as a component of the rail traffic tool and applies fluid to a local area of a wheel or a local area of a steel rail of the rail traffic tool when needed, so that friction force between the wheel and the steel rail is reduced. Friction force between the wheel and the steel rail is reduced through fluid. A relative movement between the carriage and the chassis of the rail vehicle is continuously detected by means of travel measurement in order to detect a curve in the rail course.
