The invention relates to an insert head with settable insert pressure, comprising a support member and a spline shaft assembled on the support member and capable of telescoping and rotating relative to the support member, the telescoping motion being telescoping in the axial direction of the spline shaft, and the rotating motion being rotating around the axis of the spline shaft; the telescopic inner end of the spline shaft is axially connected with a piston rod of the pressure cylinder, and the telescopic outer end of the spline shaft is connected with the clamping jaw assembly.
