The tetrasodium iminodisuccinate modified phosphate binder is prepared from the following raw materials: 52.100% to 52.587% of industrial phosphoric acid, 11.946% to 12.058% of aluminum hydroxide powder, 1.850% to 1.867% of boric acid, 0.617% to 0.622% of silicic acid, 1.233% to 1.245% of light magnesium oxide, 0.039% of copper oxide, 0.467% to 1.387% of tetrasodium iminodisuccinate, and 30.828% to 31.115% of water. According to the invention, tetrasodium iminodisuccinate is adopted as a modifier, the prepared modified phosphate binder has the advantages of low viscosity, high bonding strength and good moisture absorption resistance of a sand sample, and the prepared molding sand has good fluidity.
