Zusammenfassung:A high efficiency parallel bidirectional charge balancing circuit (BBC) for battery balancing that does not require high voltage transistors and automatically transfers charge from higher voltage cells to lower voltage cells within a battery pack of a plurality of cells connected in series using a dual phase charge pump, such as a dual phase charge pump supporting adiabatic. The BBC does not require complex external control logic to determine how the BBC is connected, the charge balancing is performed without interfering with the series connection of the cells in the battery pack, and there is a constant charge balancing over the entire charge range of the cells in the battery pack.
