A handle assembly configured for securing a reel to a fishing rod, comprising: a front seat handle immovably securable to the fishing rod; the rack is arranged on the front seat handle; a sliding handle movably fixed to the fishing rod and configured to slide in an axial direction of the fishing rod so as to selectively engage the front seat handle; a lever pivotally connected thereto to the sliding handle; and at least one tooth disposed on the rod.
