The invention relates to a low-voltage suspended particle electrochromic film and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: mixing an allochroic dye and a compatilizer according to a mass ratio of (10-20): 1 to obtain an allochroic dye solution; a stabilizer and a solvent are added into the allochroic dye solution and mixed to be uniform, the allochroic film coating liquid is obtained, the mass ratio of the stabilizer to the allochroic dye is (1-2): 1, and the mass of the solvent accounts for 50-60% of the total mass; coating one side surface of the first conductive film with the color-changing film coating liquid, and drying to obtain a color-changing layer; and compounding the second conductive film on the color-changing layer to form the low-voltage suspended particle electrochromic film.
