Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses a safety control method for crawler-type mechanical equipment and the crawler-type mechanical equipment. The crawler-type mechanical equipment comprises a main variable-amplitude steel wire rope, a mast and a super-lifting mast, the super-lifting mast is hinged to the mast, and the main variable-amplitude steel wire rope is connected with the mast and used for controlling the angle change of the mast through rope winding and rope unwinding of the main variable-amplitude steel wire rope so as to control the angle change of the super-lifting mast. The method comprises the following steps: reading initial working condition information of crawler-type mechanical equipment; according to the initial working condition information, the maximum safety angle of the super-lift mast is determined; determining a set angle range of the super-lift mast according to the maximum safety angle; the angle of the super-lift mast is obtained in real time; judging whether the angle is within a set angle rang
