Zusammenfassung:The present invention pertains to: a fluororesin containing a residue unit represented by formula (1) and a terminal group represented by formula (2); and a fluororesin containing a residue unit represented by formula (1) and having a transmittance of 50% or more as measured at an optical path length of 10 mm and a wavelength of 275 nm when dissolved in perfluorohexane to form a 10 wt% perfluorohexane solution. Provided are: a fluororesin containing an oxacyclopentane ring in which yellowing after heating and melting is suppressed, and in particular, coloring is reduced during molding of a thick article; and a method for producing the fluororesin.
