The invention provides an equipment reliability testability collaborative modeling and optimization design method based on an availability model, and the method comprises the steps: taking a key design index in a reliability and testability design scheme as decision attribute data for judging whether the reliability and testability design scheme is good or not, and determining a weight coefficient of each decision attribute data; according to the reliability and testability design scheme optimization model based on multi-attribute decision making, optimization analysis of multiple reliability and testability design schemes is achieved, a sorting result of the multiple design schemes is obtained, finally, the optimal reliability and testability design scheme is selected, and therefore the overall reliability and testability collaborative modeling and optimization technology is achieved.
