Zusammenfassung:This nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery is provided with: an electrode body in which a positive electrode and a negative electrode are alternately laminated with a separator interposed therebetween, the positive electrode having a positive electrode core and a positive electrode mixture layer containing a positive electrode active material; the volume-based median diameter (D50) of the positive electrode active material is 5.0-7.0 [mu] m, the BET specific surface area of the positive electrode active material is 2.00-3.00 m < 2 >/g, the TAP density of the positive electrode active material is 1.30-1.70 g/cm < 3 >, and the density of the positive electrode composite material layer is 2.3-2.5 g/cm < 3 >. 非水电解质二次电池具有电极体和非水电解质,所述电极体是正极与负极隔着分隔件交替层叠而成的,正极具有正极芯体和包含正极活性物质的正极复合材料层。正极活性物质的体积基准的中值粒径(D50)为5.0~7.0μm,正极活性物质的BET比表面积为2.00~3.00m2/g,正极活性物质的TAP密度为1.30~1.70g/cm3,正极复合材料层的密度为2.3~2.5g/cm3。
