Zusammenfassung:The rotary atomization type electrostatic coater of the present invention uses molding air to generate a coating pattern in a shape in which a circle is flattened, and optimizes paint distribution within the coating pattern. An electrostatic coater is provided with: a plurality of main air holes (142) having a first torsion angle ([theta] out) and constituting a first main group (No.1) and a second main group (No.2) that are disposed so as to face each other in the radial direction on a first circumference; and a plurality of inner-circumferential-side air holes (146) located on the inner circumferential side of the plurality of main air holes (142), disposed along the entire second circumference, and having a second twist angle ([theta] in). Outer peripheral molding air (SA (out)) is ejected from the main air hole (142). Inner peripheral molding air (SA (in)) is ejected from the inner peripheral air holes.
