The method comprises the following steps: extracting average working time of each piece of equipment through obtained delivery and repair data of a plurality of pieces of equipment in an external field environment; comparing with a preset minimum average working time threshold value, and screening equipment exceeding the preset minimum average working time threshold value; performing goodness-of-fit test of exponential distribution on the average working time and the fault number of the screened equipment; and under a set confidence coefficient, solving of external field reliability evaluation is carried out.
