The method comprises the following steps: standardizing a data set under a normal ironmaking working condition, calculating a JS divergence value between every two variables in the data set, constructing a JS divergence value matrix and setting division values, and dividing the data set into a plurality of variable blocks, extracting a feature information set of each variable block, inputting each piece of feature information and each variable block into the PCA model, obtaining a monitoring statistic control limit under a global normal working condition, determining a detection threshold value, and constructing an ironmaking process fault monitoring model.
