Zusammenfassung: | The embodiment of the invention provides high-content dicyclopentadiene styrene-free unsaturated polyester resin and a preparation method thereof. The preparation method comprises the following steps: in an inert atmosphere, carrying out hydrolysis reaction on maleic anhydride and distilled water at 90-110 DEG C; adding dicyclopentadiene and an antioxidant, and reacting at 120 to 130 DEG C; mixing the obtained dicyclopentadiene cis-ester with dihydric alcohol, monobasic acid, dibasic acid or dibasic acid anhydride, and reacting at 195-200 DEG C to obtain dicyclopentadiene type unsaturated polyester; mixing the dicyclopentadiene type unsaturated polyester with a polymerization inhibitor and a cross-linking agent; the cross-linking agent is selected from at least one of hydroxyethyl methylacrylate, methyl methacrylate and dimethyl itaconate.
